About us

Tele-Radiology Project has been undertaken by the Department of Information Technology as a part of REC Incubation Cell established at Rajalakshmi Engineering College. The Department of Information Technology was established in the year 1998, offers one UG programme (B.Tech - IT) and one PG programme (M.E.Software Engineering). It has been recognized as Research centre by Anna University for collaborative research programme. B.Tech (IT) programme was accredited for 3 years by the National Board of Accreditation in the year 2015. The department is active in sponsored research and consultancy works.
